Why would someone create such a hateful page about me? Why would MrK post inflammatory messages about me on the anti-Christian website, Israel Today? I am not overly religious, although I was raised Christian, and I look to the teachings of Jesus as a moral compass that guides my life. But I am not particularly into the whole thing about Jesus being the son of God or rising from the dead. Although the Israel Today crowd generally detests Christians, there is no obvious reason to target me above other Christians. In Deuteronomy, it says: "if there rise among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams... [he] shall be put to death." I can envision certain fanatics viewing me as a prophet or a dreamer of dreams. I would never claim to be a prophet, but a dreamer of dreams is somewhat accurate. Consequently, the motive for harassment could be as simple as that. Remember, we are talking about an ancient cult that uses deadly force to achieve its goals, as clearly stated in Deuteronomy.

It is worth noting that the excerpt from Deuteronomy is a good example of why Jesus opposed the high priests of the Sanhedrin, specifically the Pharisees and the scribes. They wrote barbaric directives like this to enslave their own people psychologically, but they claimed everything they wrote came from the word of Jehovah, which was a brazen lie. Jesus called them on that point, and they hated him for it. Eventually they killed him, for he too was a "dreamer of dreams."

Within that context, there are two for reasons for the harassment, in my opinion. First, it occurred to me long ago that when the ruling class of any nation decides to wage war, the leaders probably make an enemies list of potential opponents to that war. And history teaches us that the most powerful resistance to the Vietnam War in the 60s were rock stars and their fans. Rock concerts were often synonymous with anti-war rallies. At Woodstock, Jimi Hendrix played the Star Spangled Banner on his electric guitar, Country Joe McDonald sang "I Feel Like I'm Fixin' To Die Rag," which became an anti-war anthem to many young people.

Nearly 40 years have passed since Woodstock, but the US Government has a long memory. I expect the FBI, CIA, and other promoters of war have learned from their mistakes from the 60s. What did they learn? Keep a lid on rock music. That is a big reason why I am being harassed, but not the only reason, in my opinion.

The second reason may seem insane, but it's easy to understand. On the cited hate page, the author (aka, Eric B.) claims that I have written "several books outlining...bizarre conspiracy theories regarding the murders of JFK and John Lennon." Eric B. accuses me of writing the following two books using the pseudonym of renowned Internet writer, Salvador Astucia:

Eric B. also claims that I maintain the following website, under the name, Salvador Astucia, where both books can be read online or ordered:

If you click on the summary pages, it becomes clear why Eric B. and others want to destroy my musical career, especially if they believe I am Salvador Astucia. The two summary pages present compelling arguments that JFK's and John Lennon's murders were sponsored by the same people for similar reasons. Mr. Astucia claims that right-wing nuclear physicist Edward Teller was closely involved in both murders, and he was assisted by hi-level officials within the United States Air Force. For JFK's murder, it was Joint Chief of the Air Force, General Curtis LeMay; for Lennon's murder it was former Secretary of the Air Force Hans Mark, according to Mr. Astucia. Astucia has also linked Reagan's CIA director, William Casey, to Lennon's murder. I do not necessarily subscribe to Mr. Astucia's findings about JFK's and John Lennon's respective murders, but his research and logic are well thought out and plausible. The fact that people are upset with me because they believe I am him suggests that Mr. Astucia may be on to something.

The motive for killing both JFK and Lennon, according to Mr. Astucia, centered around JFK's Limited Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. Teller et al were angry with Kennedy for banning nuclear testing in the atmosphere, which was where they wanted to test anti-ballistic exotic weapons that eventually evolved into President Ronald Reagan's Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI, nicknamed "Star Wars" by the press). Mr. Astucia claims that a major exotic weapons test, which was a pre-curser to SDI, occurred in the Nevada Dessert just three weeks before Lennon was murdered on December 8, 1980. Again, I may not agree with the motives that Mr. Astucia's presents for JFK's and Lennon's murders, but the evidence he presents is certainly more logical than the official explanations that both victims were killed by a lone shooter, but both alleged shooters claimed to admire their respective victims. And neither alleged shooter was found to be criminally insane. Also, I do not understand why Mr. Astucia's critics think he is anti-Jewish regarding his research in Lennon's murder. He mainly re-created the crime scene and developed a different theory. What does that have to do with Judaism? It would seem that the critics have revealed, with their super-aggressive criticism, that the people who plotted to kill Lennon were in fact Jewish. I'm not saying they were, but such hyper-sensitivity over anti-Semitism makes one wonder.

In a strange way, the cited attacks on Mr. Astucia could be a plus for supporters of Israel, with respect to AIPAC's alleged free speech violations. Is it possible that the people trying to discredit me (because they believe Mr. Astucia and I are the same person) are less interested in protecting Israel, but mainly interested in keeping themselves out of prison for conspiracy to murder John Lennon?

Identity of Hate Page Author

Mr. Astucia accuses writer Robert Rosen of being the true creator of the hate page under the pseudonym, Eric B. Mr. Rosen wrote a book entitled Nowhere Man: The Final Days of John Lennon. The stated book "portrays Lennon in an extremely negative light," according to Mr. Astucia. Here is an article by Mr. Astucia that provides more information about Robert Rosen and his possible connection to Lennon's murder:

Mr. Astucia's logic is quite compelling, but not as convincing as Mr. Rosen's own website, shown below:

With respect to Lennon's murder, Mr. Rosen's website is the complete opposite of Mr. Astucia's. Mr. Rosen is obsessed with movies that portray Mark David Chapman as Lennon's actual killer, whereas Mr. Astucia asserts that Chapman was framed. The real killer, according to Astucia, was Cuban exile Jose Joaquin Sanjenis Perdomo, a professional hit man on the CIA's payroll for ten years. Mr. Astucia wrote an interesting article about Mr. Perdomo, shown below:

Mr. Astucia made a fascinating 90 minute radio program which presented compelling evidence that Wackenhut (a corporation that specializes in providing security guards to nuclear facilities and residential buildings) supplied professional hit man Jose Joaquin Sanjenis Perdomo who posed as a security guard at the Dakota condominium complex, where Lennon lived. It was Perdomo who shot Lennon point blank in the back of the heart, not Chapman, according to Mr. Astucia. Mr. Astucia also insinuates that Lennon's murder was ordered by the late William Casey, former legal counsel to Wackenhut, whom Reagan appointed as CIA director after Lennon's murder. Again, I am not pushing Mr. Astucia's theories. But since people are accusing me of being the real life person behind the pseudonym who developed them, it seems reasonable to present the theories themselves. Several acquaintances of mine in the music world realize that I am being targeted by someone, but they don't understand why. Hopefully presenting Mr. Astucia's research and conclusions will help shed more light on why a handful of people are causing so much trouble for me. It's because they believe I am him.

As an aside, Mr. Rosen's website makes reference to his wife, Mary Lyn Maiscott, and her budding singing career. Perhaps there is a hint of professional jealousy at play as well. (See Mary Lyn Maiscott's website at http://marylynmaiscott.blogspot.com )

(NOTE: I noticed that Mary Lyn is from West Virginia. I have close relatives from that state. Although I was not born or raised in West Virginia, I am quite familiar with the Scotch Irish peoples who live there. It seems odd that a country girl from West Virginia would marry a Jewish guy from New York City.)
